The HSC-H-PSH paddle sterile homogenizer blends samples inside a sealed sterile bag, so nothing touches the machine and samples cannot cross-contaminate. Stainless-steel paddles beat the bag 3 to 12 times a second to mix, emulsify and release microbes from the sample. It is used for food, pharmaceutical, environmental and clinical microbiology testing. It takes 3 – 400 ml in a 17 × 30 cm bag. You program it on a 4.3-inch touch screen, with up to 8 combined program steps. Three models are available: the basic PS4, the PS4M with UV sterilisation, and the PS4GM with UV sterilisation and temperature control up to 60 °C.
