A Bluetooth weighing scale, also called a Bluetooth weight machine (ब्लूटूथ वजन काटा), sends each weight straight to a phone, tablet or computer, with no cable and no typing. HSCo has sold more than 21 lakh (2.1 million) Bluetooth weighing scales to date. HSCo builds Bluetooth into table-top, platform, hanging, crane and BMI scales, from a 180 kg body scale to a 50,000 kg crane scale, and offers it on more than 40 other HSCo scales. A Bluetooth weighing scale, also called a Bluetooth weight machine, sends its reading to a nearby phone or tablet. An app can show live weight, save records and prepare bills, depending on the setup. Hindustan Scale Company (HSCo) supplies the scales; Blue Whale Technology, HSCo’s software and IoT arm, builds apps around your process. HSCo’s apps are in use at more than 340 customers.
What the app beside the scale does
Bluetooth carries weight to a nearby phone without an internet connection. HSCo builds Android and iOS apps with the records, reports and printing your work needs. Options include weight history, stock tracking, alerts and PDF or Excel reports. Cloud synchronisation needs internet access. At a counter, the app can calculate the amount and GST and send the invoice to a thermal printer; agree the fields and print format before the software is built.

There is no single off-the-shelf HSCo app. Blue Whale Technology writes the app around your records, printouts and reports. For example, a mandi buyer may need the farmer’s name and rate; a dispatch bay may need the challan number and vehicle. Send a sample of the record you want.
Add Bluetooth to the scale you already have
The Bluetooth module is available from Rs. 6,750 (ex-GST). HSCo can upgrade its own scales and, in most cases, other makes. Send the model and indicator photo for an assessment through the Upgrades service. HSCo arranges Legal Metrology re-verification where the modification requires it.
