How the weight reaches Tally or SAP
Weighing scale ERP integration moves the reading into your business software. Hindustan Scale Company (HSCo) builds the connection around the scale, the ERP version and the entry you use.
The load cell under the platform sends a signal to the indicator, the box with the display, which turns it into the weight you read. Without a software connection, an operator may have to copy that number into a register or voucher.
With an ERP link the indicator carries a port, and which port depends on where the software sits. RS232 or USB for a PC beside the scale. RS485 when the cable run is long or several scales share one line. Wi-Fi when the scale is on the plant network. Bluetooth for a nearby phone or tablet. Any HSCo scale can be built with any of these, and a scale already in use can be upgraded, HSCo’s or in most cases another make.
The port sends the weight to HSCo’s capture software on the PC, or to the HSCo app on the phone. We set the capture trigger to a stable reading or a key press, then map the weight and any item, party, vehicle or batch fields to your ERP entry. In Tally Prime that is the voucher; in SAP, Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho Books, Busy or Marg ERP it is the matching document. Rate, GST and stock posting are set to follow your billing and approval process.

Each weighment is tied to the vehicle and its ticket, and the fields sent to the ERP, vehicle number, gross, tare, net, material and party, are set to match your ERP’s entry.
Yes. The inventory integration posts each weighing transaction to stock in real time, with goods inward and outward, batch management, material consumption and automated reconciliation. Tell us whether stock should post at the weighment or after an approval, and how corrections should work; the software is set to match.
Usually the existing scale will do. Any HSCo scale can be upgraded with RS232, RS485, USB, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, or given a new indicator that carries the port, and in most cases so can other makes.
