The HSC colony counter helps microbiology labs count bacterial and fungal colonies on agar plates quickly and without eye strain. The plate sits on an LED-backlit counting stage with adjustable brightness, under an illuminated 4× – 10× magnifier. Each colony is counted with a press, and the total shows on a digital readout, from 0 to 999 colonies per plate, accurate to ±1 colony. It takes plates from 55 mm to 150 mm in diameter. It comes in two versions: the HSC-CC1 is manual with a pressure-sensitive pad, and the HSC-CC2 counts semi-automatically. It is used in pharmaceutical, food, microbiology and research laboratories.
