HSCo laboratory microscopes come in two types: the HSC-LM1 light microscope, up to 1,000× for slides in teaching, pathology and microbiology, and the HSC-IM1 inverted microscope, up to 600×, which looks up through the bottom of flasks and dishes for live cell cultures. Both have achromatic or plan-achromatic objectives, adjustable LED or halogen lighting, coarse and fine focus, and a heavy metal body.
