The HSCo HSC-4DEDB 4 °C electronic dry bath holds sample tubes in a metal block that can both heat and cool, from −10 to 100 °C, with a one-touch 4 °C hold for enzymes, DNA/RNA, proteins and other temperature-sensitive samples. Semiconductor temperature control reaches 100 °C in 15 minutes or less and cools to 4 °C in 10 minutes or less, holds ±0.5 °C with ±0.3 °C uniformity across the block, and is run from a 4.3-inch touch screen. The standard block takes 35 × 2.0 ml tubes, and many other blocks are available.
