The HSCo HSC-SDBKT shaking dry bath heats and shakes tubes at the same time, for enzyme reactions, DNA extraction and protein denaturation. A digital keypad sets the temperature, shaking speed (200 to 1,800 rpm) and time, shown on an LED screen, with up to 5 program steps. The block holds its temperature within ±0.5 °C and is even to ±0.3 °C, and it heats from 25 to 100 °C in 15 minutes or less. The heating model works from 5 °C above room temperature to 100 °C; the heating-and-cooling model from 0 to 100 °C.
