The HSCo oil bath gives steady, even heating from 50 °C to 300 °C for melting-point, boiling-point and flow-point tests. It is used in pharmaceutical, chemical, research and industrial labs. It holds silicone oil and has a built-in magnetic stirrer that keeps the temperature the same throughout. An H-type glass chamber makes the sample easy to see. A rate controller sets how fast it heats, and you can pre-set the temperature, with an audible alarm when it is reached, so you do not have to watch it all the time.
