The HSCo HSC-CTDB constant temperature dry bath heats sample tubes in a metal block instead of water, so there is no water to spill, top up or contaminate. You set the temperature and time on its keypad. It holds the block within ±0.5 °C and heats from 20 °C to 100 °C in 15 minutes or less. It comes as a heating model (up to 100 °C), a heating-and-cooling model (−10 to 100 °C) and two high-temperature models (up to 150 °C). It is used in molecular biology, clinical diagnostics and biochemistry labs.
