The HSCo round water bath keeps samples at a steady temperature from 5 °C above room temperature up to 99 °C, within ±2 °C. It is double-walled, with an SS304 mirror-finish stainless inner bath, glass-wool insulation and immersion heaters for fast, even heating. The outer body is matte stainless steel or powder-coated mild steel. Control is either a simple mechanical thermostat or a microprocessor PID controller with a PT100 sensor, 0.1 °C resolution and separate displays for the set and actual temperature. Sizes run from 2 to 20 litres.
