The HSCo mini ultrasonic homogenizer is a hand-held, pen-sized sonicator for small samples from 0.1 to 300 ml. At 30 kHz and up to 300 W it disrupts cells, emulsifies, disperses and prepares nanoparticles, through a titanium-alloy horn. It runs on mains or 12–24 V DC, so it works on the bench or in the field, and weighs about half a kilogram.
