This HSCo single-point load cell is a low-profile parallel-beam load cell for large platform scales, from 500 kg to 3,000 kg capacity. One cell carries a platform up to 1,000 × 1,000 mm with minimal error from off-centre loads, so a big platform scale can be built without four cells and a junction box. It is made of electroless nickel-plated tool steel to take shock loads and resist corrosion.
