The HSCo HSC-CTDBTS constant temperature dry bath heats sample tubes in a heating block for incubation, enzyme reactions and nucleic acid denaturation in molecular biology, pharmaceutical and research labs. It is run from a 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen, holds its temperature within ±0.5 °C, is even across the block to ±0.3 °C, and heats from 20 to 100 °C in 15 minutes or less. The heating model works from 5 °C above room temperature to 100 °C; the heating-and-cooling model from −10 to 100 °C. Up to 5 program steps can be stored, and it alarms at the end of a run or on a fault.
