The HSCo HSC-C-RT8FLR is a floor-standing refrigerated centrifuge for very large volumes: up to 8,000 rpm (11,260 × g) and up to 6 × 2,400 ml, with the chamber held from −20 to +40 °C within ±1 °C by a French Tecumseh compressor (R404a). Rotors take 500 ml to 2,400 ml bottles, including steel and 316L stainless buckets. It runs on a 380 V supply and shares its speed and capacity with the RK8FLR.
