The HSCo HSC-C-RK8FLR is a floor-standing refrigerated centrifuge for the largest volumes: up to 6 × 2,400 ml, at up to 8,000 rpm (11,260 × g), with the chamber held anywhere from −20 to +40 °C within ±1 °C. A French Tecumseh compressor with R404a refrigerant does the cooling, the speed holds within ±10 rpm, and the timer runs from 1 second to 99 h 59 min 59 s. It runs on a 380 V three-phase, 40 A supply and draws 7.5 kW.
