The HSC calorimeter measures the heat of combustion, specific heat and enthalpy changes of solids, liquids and semi-solids. It is used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, fuel and teaching laboratories. It comes as a simple calorimeter, a bomb calorimeter or a digital calorimeter, depending on your application. Each has a double-walled insulated jacket to minimise heat loss, a stirred inner vessel, and temperature measurement to ±0.1 °C or better (0.01 °C resolution on the digital type). The bomb model has a stainless-steel bomb rated to about 30 atm, with electric fuse-wire ignition.
