The HSCo HSC-C-RK6FLR is a floor-standing refrigerated centrifuge for very large volumes: up to 6 × 1,200 ml, at up to 6,000 rpm (6,680 × g), with the chamber held anywhere from −20 to +40 °C within ±1 °C. A French Tecumseh compressor with R404a refrigerant does the cooling, the speed holds within ±10 rpm, and the timer runs from 1 second to 99 h 59 min 59 s. It runs on a 220 V, 30 A supply and draws 5 kW.
