The HSC nephelometer is a benchtop turbidity meter that measures light scattered by particles in a water sample, from 0 to 1,000 NTU with 0.01 NTU resolution and ±2% accuracy. It calibrates against formazin standards, reads on a backlit LCD, and suits water treatment plants, beverage testing and environmental labs.
Why labs choose it
- Wide range. 0 – 1,000 NTU (depending on model).
- Fine resolution. 0.01 NTU for very clear water.
- Accurate. ±2% of reading or better.
- Flexible measuring. Single-point, continuous or automatic averaging.
- Standard calibration with formazin or an equivalent standard.
- Robust. A chemical-resistant housing for daily lab use.
