The HSCo HSC-C-NK16TT is a compact, non-refrigerated bench-top centrifuge for small tubes: 1.5 and 2.2 ml tubes, 5 ml tubes, and 0.2 or 0.5 ml tubes with adaptors. It spins at up to 16,000 rpm (17,800 × g). A brushless DC motor keeps it quiet and holds the speed accurately, and a microcomputer with a digital display makes it simple to run. The lid locks electronically, and the centrifuge alarms on over-speed, over-temperature and imbalance. It is small and light, 9 kg without a rotor, for clinical and research labs.
