The HSCo OS20-S overhead stirrer mixes up to 20 litres (water) at 50 to 2,200 rpm, for jobs beyond a magnetic stirrer: thick liquids, suspensions, emulsions and large batches. A brushless DC motor gives up to 40 N·cm of torque, enough for liquids up to 10,000 mPa·s, and an LED display shows the speed to ±3 rpm. The chuck takes shafts from 0.5 to 10 mm, and the drive weighs just 2.8 kg.
