The HSCo HSC-C-RK21FLR is a floor-standing, refrigerated high-speed centrifuge for large-volume, high-throughput work. It spins at up to 21,000 rpm (about 50,400 × g) and takes up to 6 × 500 ml. The chamber holds anywhere from −20 to +40 °C within ±1 °C, using an imported compressor with non-CFC R404a refrigerant, so temperature-sensitive samples stay intact at high speed. A microprocessor with an LCD and keypad sets speed and time (up to 99 h 59 min 59 s), with smooth acceleration and braking.
