The HSCo HSC-C-RT23FLR is a floor-standing, refrigerated ultra high-speed centrifuge: up to 23,000 rpm (60,900 × g) and up to 4 × 1,000 ml, with the chamber held anywhere from −20 to +40 °C within ±1 °C by a French Tecumseh compressor with R404a refrigerant. The speed holds within ±10 rpm and the timer runs from 1 second to 99 h 59 min 59 s. Rotors range from 24 micro tubes to 4 × 1,000 ml bottles, with continuous-flow rotors for 1,000 or 3,000 ml.
