The Hindustan Scale Company's (HSCo) Hot Air Oven – Lab Type (Economy Model) is designed to provide consistent, reliable and efficient dry heating for a variety of laboratory uses. Built with an ergonomic design and easy-to-use controls. It works well for regular testing in research labs, schools and places where quality control is important in business. The inner chamber is made of mild steel or SS304 stainless steel, and the outer chamber is made of powder-coated GI sheets. This makes the structure strong and long-lasting. The space between the walls is filled with high-quality glass wool insulation, which keeps heat in and makes the building more energy efficient. The fully insulated door, equipped with stainless steel locks and hinges, enhances thermal stability during operation. For proper airflow and removal of hot fumes, ventilation ports are provided at the top of the unit, and each oven is supplied with sturdy galvanized wire mesh shelves. The heating comes from ISI-approved chrome-plated Nichrome wire elements. That are placed at the bottom of the chamber to make sure that the temperature is evenly spread throughout the chamber. The oven can reach temperatures between 50°C and 250°C with an accuracy of ±2°C. A reliable mechanical thermostat controls the temperature making it easy to set and keep the desired levels.
