The HSC-GCMC is a gas chromatograph that can be supplied on its own (GC) or with a mass spectrometer (GC-MS). It separates, identifies and measures volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds. The GC offers FID, TCD and ECD detectors, with FPD or NPD as options. The column oven runs from 5 °C above ambient to 450 °C with up to 20 ramps. Electronic pneumatic control handles helium, nitrogen or hydrogen carrier gas. The mass spectrometer covers 1 – 1,200 amu with an electron impact source and turbomolecular vacuum. It serves environmental, food, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and forensic labs.
Why labs choose it
- GC or GC-MS. Start with a standalone GC or take the integrated GC-MS system.
- Choice of detectors. FID, TCD and ECD; FPD or NPD optional.
- Wide, fast oven. Ambient +5 °C to 450 °C, up to 100 °C/min, ±0.1 °C stability, 20 ramps and 21 plateaus.
- Sensitive MS. Under 1 pg octafluoronaphthalene at S/N ≥ 10:1; scans up to 12,500 u/s.
- Complete software. Windows data system with peak identification, library search and quantitation.
- Grows with you. Autosampler, headspace, purge-and-trap and thermal desorber options.

Questions buyers ask
A GC separates and measures compounds with a detector such as FID or TCD. GC-MS adds a mass spectrometer that also identifies each compound from its mass spectrum.
Helium, nitrogen or hydrogen, under electronic pneumatic control.
Yes, with the optional autosampler; headspace, purge-and-trap and thermal desorption are also available.
220 V ±10%, 50/60 Hz, single phase, in a room at 15 – 30 °C.
