The HSC-C-RK5TT is a refrigerated medium-speed benchtop centrifuge for clinical, biological and routine lab work. It spins at up to 5,000 rpm (4,390 × g) and keeps samples cool, with the temperature set from −5 to +35 °C and held to ±1 °C by a Tecumseh (France) compressor on R134a. Swing-out rotors take up to 4 × 100 ml or 72 × 7 ml tubes, and a microplate carrier takes 2 × 2 plates. It runs quietly, at under 65 dB(A), with smooth acceleration and braking to protect the samples.
