The HSCo HSC-C-YK5.8TT is a refrigerated, medium-speed bench-top centrifuge for large volumes: up to 4 × 750 ml, at up to 5,800 rpm (5,060 × g), with the chamber held anywhere from −20 to +40 °C within ±1 °C. A French Tecumseh compressor with R404a refrigerant does the cooling, the speed holds within ±10 rpm, and the timer runs from 1 second to 99 h 59 min 59 s. Rotors cover 50 ml tubes, 250, 500 and 750 ml bottles (standard or conical) and microplates.
