The HSCo HSC-C-RK12FLRE is a floor-standing refrigerated centrifuge that combines high speed with large volumes: up to 12,000 rpm (19,830 × g) with small bottles, and up to 4 × 2,000 ml with the large rotor. The chamber holds anywhere from −20 to +40 °C within ±1 °C, using a French Tecumseh compressor with R404a refrigerant. The speed holds within ±10 rpm, the timer runs from 1 second to 99 h 59 min 59 s, and it runs on 220 V, 30 A, drawing 5.5 kW.
