HSC refractometers measure refractive index and sugar concentration (Brix) in seconds from a few drops of sample. The digital model reads 0–95% Brix and 1.3000–1.7000 nD with 0.01% Brix resolution, ±0.2% Brix accuracy and automatic temperature compensation; the handheld analogue model covers 0–90% Brix. They are used in food and beverage, pharma and chemical labs.
