The HSCo Karl Fischer titrator measures the water content of liquids, solids and viscous samples, from trace moisture to pure water. Depending on the model it works by coulometric titration (10 µg to 5% water) or volumetric titration (0.01% to 100%). It detects the end point with a double platinum electrode, doses the reagent automatically, and shows the result, the titration curve and the end point on its display. It is used in pharmaceutical, chemical, food and petroleum laboratories.
