The HSCo MK-HC12A is a microhematocrit centrifuge for blood hematocrit tests, plasma separation and small sample work in clinical, diagnostic, research and teaching labs. It spins 24 capillary tubes at up to 12,000 rpm (15,300 × g), with separate knobs for speed and a 0 – 30 minute timer that stops the run automatically. The transparent lid lets you watch the samples, the lid locks while it runs, and the motor is protected against overload. It has an ABS body with a metal rotor, and it is compact and light for the bench.
