The HSCo HSC-AM50 is a simple, sturdy analogue hot-plate magnetic stirrer for routine lab mixing where digital control is not needed: sample preparation, solution mixing and chemical reactions. Knobs set the stirring speed, 150 to 1,500 rpm, and the plate temperature, 35 to 400 °C. The plate is ceramic-coated aluminium, it takes stir bars of 25 – 60 mm, and it runs quietly and steadily on 600 W.
