The HSCo HSC-I-VCTS vertical constant temperature shaker (shaking incubator) keeps flasks at a set temperature while it shakes them, for cell culture, microbial cultivation, biochemical reactions and sample preparation. A PID controller holds the chamber to ±0.1 °C, even to ±0.5 °C at 37 °C, and the platforms turn from 20 up to 350 rpm, or stand still for static culture, forward or reverse. Standard, continuous and multi-step program modes set temperature, speed and time together. Three cabinet sizes (175, 335 and 580 L) hold two shaking trays; C models also cool, down to 4 °C.
