The HSCo HSC-C-NK35TT is a low-speed, non-refrigerated bench-top centrifuge for immunohaematology labs: separating blood and testing for antigens and antibodies in small tubes. It is microcomputer-controlled with a digital LCD, stores up to 9 user programs, and has 9 acceleration and 10 braking levels, with free coast-down. A DC brushless motor keeps it quiet and holds the speed accurately. The lid locks electronically, and it alarms on over-speed, over-temperature and imbalance. Rotors for 12 × 2 ml and 6 × 0.5 ml tubes are shown, running at up to 3,000 rpm (730 × g).
