The HSCo 4-in-1 digital soil meter checks four things with one probe: soil moisture, soil pH, temperature and sunlight. Push the 200 mm probe into the soil, choose the reading with the switch, and read it on the backlit LCD. It shows pH from 3.5 to 9.0, temperature from −9 to 50 °C, sunlight in 9 levels and moisture in 5 levels, from dry to wet. It runs on one 9 V battery, weighs about 180 g and switches itself off.
