The LAB220.1E is HSCo’s four-digit analytical balance with external calibration. It weighs up to 220 g with 0.1 mg (0.0001 g) readability, inside a glass draft shield with sliding doors. The round stainless-steel pan sits under the glass, and you read the result on a large backlit LCD. It weighs in many units, including grams, carats, ounces, troy ounces and pennyweights, and it can also weigh below the balance. It is calibrated with an external weight and stamped by the Legal Metrology Department. It is used in laboratories, pharma, quality control, education and jewellery and gemstone work.
