The HSCo HSC-EK electromagnetism kit lets students see and measure how electricity and magnetism work together. It includes a solenoid, bar and horseshoe magnets, iron filings, a compass, coils, a soft iron core, a galvanometer or ammeter, a rheostat and an armature set-up, so a class can demonstrate magnetic fields, electromagnets, induction, Faraday’s law, Fleming’s rules and a simple DC motor and generator. It runs on a safe 6 – 12 V DC supply and comes in a storage case with foam compartments and an experiment manual.
Why schools and colleges choose it
- Many experiments, one kit: fields, electromagnets, induction, motor and generator.
- Safe for students: 6 – 12 V DC, insulated terminals, shockproof parts.
- Clearly labelled parts mounted on durable bases.
- Organised storage: case with foam compartments.
- Guided learning: experiment manual included.
