This is HSCo’s height, weight and BMI machine with a built-in printer. A person steps onto the glass platform, an ultrasonic sensor overhead reads their height without touching them, and the machine shows weight, height, BMI and body fat together, then prints them on a slip. It can also send the results over Bluetooth to an Android phone or a PC. It suits hospitals, clinics, gyms, pharmacies and wellness camps that want a record in the visitor’s hand. HSCo has sold more than 21 lakh (2.1 million) Bluetooth weighing scales to date.
What sets the printer model apart
- Printed result in seconds. A thermal printer prints weight, height and BMI with the healthy ranges beside them. Thermal printing needs no ink, only paper rolls.
- Height without a head plate. The ultrasonic sensor measures height contact-free, which is quicker and more hygienic for a queue of visitors.
- Speaks the result. Voice guidance announces the readings, helpful for elderly and visually impaired users.
- Easy to read. A 105 × 69.5 mm backlit LCD shows all three values at once.
- Runs anywhere. Works on 4 × AAA batteries or a 6–15 V DC supply, so it can go to a camp or a corridor without a wall socket.
