How to measure
- Stand straight with your back against a flat wall.
- Hold the meter flat on top of the head, touching the wall.
- Step away and press the button; wait for the beep.
- Read the height on the display.
For accurate results, keep a clear area about 80 cm across beneath the meter, with no furniture or objects in the way. If there is a skirting board (“foot line”) at the base of the wall, add its height to the reading.
