The HSCo BCA180A is an electronic baby-cum-adult scale for maternity wards and clinics. Adults stand on its full-size platform; for infants, a baby tray sits on the platform. It reads out on a double-sided display on an external adjustable stand, with a jumbo green display at the front and a big green display at the back. The platform is MS with a 90+ micron powder coat on a sturdy steel frame, the PCB is water resistant, and a rechargeable battery keeps it working through power cuts. It is stamped by the Legal Metrology department.
