We offer installation consultancy for weighing systems, including tank or silo weighing, weighbridges and load cells under a machine. We look at what you send and reply with what we can do for the job and what we still need to know.

Tank weighing installation

Tell us what the tank or silo holds, the required weighing capacity and whether it is a new installation or an existing vessel. Send drawings or photos showing the vessel, its supports and the surrounding space. Include the number of legs or support points and whether pipes are rigidly fixed to it.

Weighbridge installation

Send the site layout or photos, required weighing capacity, vehicle types and approximate vehicle length. Tell us whether you are considering a deck in a pit or above ground.

Load cell installation under a machine

Send drawings or clear photos of the machine and its support points. Tell us what is to be weighed, the required capacity and which weighing equipment you already have. Include close-up photos or drawings of the space available for load cell mounting.

We make load cells. If you have any in mind, name them; otherwise, tell us you need help choosing them.

Connections to your controller or software

Tell us where the readings must go: a plant controller, a computer or your billing software. Send the receiving system’s details and a sample of the data format it accepts. Include the cable length needed and describe anything you want the weighing system to switch on or off.

Questions buyers ask

What should I send for an installation enquiry?

Send what you need to weigh, the required capacity, site location and drawings or photos. For a tank, include its supports and pipe connections; for a weighbridge, include vehicle length and the proposed deck arrangement.

Can you help with an installation outside Mumbai?

We are based in Mumbai, where service comes from the people who make the scales. For scale servicing elsewhere in India, our network includes more than 1,440 repairers, service dealers and technicians. Installation attendance needs separate confirmation: send your site location, drawings or photos and the help required so we can confirm what we can arrange.

Can the weighbridge send readings to our software?

We build connections around the output format your software already reads, with cable length and relays made to order. Send the software name, a sample of the format it accepts and details of any weighing equipment already installed.

What does installation consultancy cost, and does it include a site visit?

Send your site location, capacity, drawings or photos and whether you need advice, equipment selection or attendance during fitting. We can then confirm the scope, any site visit, charges and schedule for your job.

Does a new weighbridge or tank weighing system need Legal Metrology stamping?

Scales used to buy or sell by weight must be verified and stamped. Every HSCo scale ships with one year of Legal Metrology stamping, and we arrange re-verification when it falls due, anywhere in India. Tell us if the proposed system is for trade use.
