Set capacity and division on the CRH crane scale using the remote

What this video shows

On the CRH electronic crane scale the capacity and the division (the step the reading moves in) are changed from the remote control, not from the scale body hanging on the crane. This video shows the whole sequence: waiting for the display to settle, entering the setup from the remote, keying the password digit by digit, setting the division (1 kg in the video) and then the maximum capacity.

The video is in Hindi. The steps below follow what is done on screen.

Before you start

Keep the scale’s remote control at hand; every setting in this video is entered from the remote, and the scale asks for a password before it lets you in.

Steps in the video

1. Switch on the crane scale and wait until the display settles.
2. Press the setup button on the remote; the scale asks for a password.
3. Enter the the setup password from the manual: one remote button moves to the next digit, another raises its value.
4. Set the division (step size) first, 1 kg in the video, using the same two buttons.
5. Set the maximum capacity next, the same way; the scale then works with the new values.
