Set the time and date with MODE and PLUS so your slips print the right stamp

What this video shows

Every slip a scale prints carries the date and time, and a wrong stamp makes the slip useless as a record. This video shows how the date and time are set on an HSCo scale: MODE opens the setting, PLUS raises each digit, and the time goes in as a 24-hour value. At the end a slip is printed to check the new stamp.

The video is in Hindi. The steps below follow what is done on screen.

Before you start

Work out the time in 24-hour form before you start (4 pm is 16:00); the video stresses this.

Steps in the video

  1. Press MODE to open the date and time setting.
  2. Enter the time in 24-hour form: 12:30 for half past twelve in the afternoon, 16:00 for 4 pm.
  3. Press PLUS to raise a digit; hold it and the value keeps increasing.
  4. Press MODE to move to the next digit or field and confirm each one.
  5. Set the date the same way.
  6. Press MODE to take a printout and check the date and time printed on the slip.
